Day 1 - Arrive Melbourne. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of
the day at leisure to explore the beautiful city on your own. You may visit
the Phillip Island, 90 minutes by road from Melbourne, it is the best
natural viewing in the world for Penguins. Other attractions include the
Koala Conservation Centre, The Marine Centre and Churchill Island Historic
Farm or you can take the City Circle Free Tram to explore the city on your
own. In the evening we suggest dinner on the Colonial Tramcar. The burgundy
tramcar restaurants on wheels offer a truly delightful innovative approach
to dining (on your own). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 - Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a panoramic city tour of Melbourne. See
Captain Cook`s Cottage, Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Gardens and Albert
Park. Stroll the Royal Botanical Gardens, see the Royal Exhibition Building
and Federation Square. Visit the Shrine of Remembrance and see the
Southbank Waterfront Precinct. See some of the city`s finest architecture
including St. Paul`s Cathedral and the Princess and Regent Theatres. Rest
of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 - Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for world`s great coastal drives, with its
dramatic scenery of striking contrasts which boasts powerful seas, golden
beaches, peaceful townships, giant cliffs and lush forests. Stroll along
the pristine sandy beaches and wander through sleepy seaside holiday towns.
View majestic monoliths abruptly rising from the sea. Discover the
fascinating Twelve Apostles Information Centre or take an optional
helicopter flight over the dramatic shipwreck coast (on your own) View the
12 Apostles, the London Bridge and Loch Ardgorge. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 4 - After breakfast, checkout and transfer to Melbourne. Arrive Melbourne;
check into your hotel. Day is free at leisure. Melbourne is a multicultural
city located on the banks of the Yarra River and is home to people from
over 140 nations. We suggest you take an optional tour to the Sovereign
Hill Historical Town. Step back in time and experience the Australian gold
Rush era. Explore the wonders of Ballarat as well as Sovereign Hill, a
replica of an old gold-mining town, where you can tour an underground gold
mine or catch a ride in a traditional horse drawn carriage (own expense)
and pan for gold. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 - After breakfast at the hotel, check out of the hotel and transfer to the
airport to board your flight back home or onward destination.
